What this site is

An informational site about the verification services for national-water metering systems that NEOMETRIC provides as a Verification Unit, and about the regulations applicable to those systems.

The content does not replace the standard, nor is it a verification report

The information published here, including that concerning NMX-AA-179-SCFI-2018, deadlines and the obligations of concession and allocation holders, is provided for general guidance.

It does not replace the official text of the standards or the provisions issued by the authority, and it does not constitute a verification report, legal advice or a technical opinion on any particular water use. A report is issued only after an inspection carried out under the accredited procedure, and is recorded in the corresponding formal document.

About our accreditation and approval

NEOMETRIC is accredited by the Mexican accreditation entity (ema) under number MVA-053, against NMX-EC-17020-IMNC-2014 / ISO/IEC 17020:2012, and approved by the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), listed in its registry of Verification Units under number 017 by official letter B00.9/08/2024.-0763.

CONAGUA’s approval covers competency standard EC0913, concerning spool-type meters for pressurized pipe. Any content on this site describing other technologies is informational and does not imply that NEOMETRIC is approved to issue reports on them.

The status of the accreditation and the approval can be verified in the public registries of ema and CONAGUA. We encourage you to do so.

Inspection requests

The form on this site is for requesting information and a service proposal. Submitting a request does not constitute an engagement, does not oblige NEOMETRIC to provide the service, and does not create any right to a particular outcome. A contractual relationship arises, where applicable, from the instrument signed between the parties.

Intellectual property

The NEOMETRIC brand and logo, and the texts, images, video, design and code of this site, are owned by NEOMETRIC or used with the owner’s authorisation, and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property law.

You may consult and share the content citing the source. You may not reproduce it for commercial purposes, modify it, or use the brand or logo without prior written authorisation.

Permitted use

When using this site you agree not to:

• Use it for unlawful purposes or contrary to these terms.
• Attempt to access restricted areas, the site’s infrastructure or other users’ data.
• Introduce malicious code or take actions that may damage or overload the service.
• Use automated means to extract content in bulk.
• Impersonate another person or company when submitting a request.

Links to other sites

This site links to third-party pages, including those of ema and CONAGUA, so that you can verify the information. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.

Availability

We aim to keep the site continuously available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or withdraw content at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NEOMETRIC is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site, nor for decisions taken solely on the basis of its informational content. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For their interpretation and performance, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them.
