Privacy notice

This is a courtesy translation. NEOMETRIC is a Mexican company and the processing of personal data is governed by Mexican law; in the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version of this document prevails.

NEOMETRIC MEXICANA, S. de R.L. de C.V. (“NEOMETRIC”), with address at Dakota 359, interior 301, colonia Ampliación Nápoles, C.P. 03840, alcaldía Benito Juárez, Ciudad de México, Mexico, is the controller of the personal data you provide through this website, and protects it in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.

What we collect

Only what you type into the inspection request form. We do not obtain your data from other sources and we do not buy it from third parties.

  • Identification and contact details: name, company, email address and telephone number.
  • Details of the water use: state, type of water use, industry, the type of inspection requested, whether a meter is already installed, and the approximate concessioned volume.
  • Any free-text message you choose to write.
  • Technical details of the request: form language, the page you arrived from, and campaign parameters in the address when present.

We do NOT collect sensitive personal data as defined in article 3, section VI of the Law: no data on racial or ethnic origin, health, genetic information, religious, philosophical or moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions or sexual preference.

What we use it for

Necessary purposes

If you object to these, we cannot process your request.

  • Receiving, recording and responding to your inspection request.
  • Sending you the acknowledgement with your request reference number.
  • Contacting you to clarify the technical information needed to quote or schedule the verification.
  • Preparing the service proposal and, where applicable, formalising the engagement.
  • Meeting the legal, accounting and tax obligations arising from that relationship.

Additional purposes

These are not necessary in order to assist you. You may object to them at any time without affecting your request.

  • Informing you of the validity period of your verification report and when a periodic inspection would fall due.
  • Sending you notices about regulatory changes affecting your water use.

To object, email sergio.castro@neometricmexicana.com with your name and request reference number. Objections take effect within five working days.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not transfer it to third parties for their own purposes.

We do use technology service providers that process data on NEOMETRIC’s behalf and under its instruction. Under article 36 of the Law these are transmissions to processors rather than transfers, and therefore do not require your additional consent. They are disclosed here for transparency:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting.
  • Neon Inc. (United States) — database where the request is recorded.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — file storage.
  • Resend (United States) — delivery of the acknowledgement and internal notification.

We may also disclose your data to the competent authority upon a duly founded and reasoned request, in the cases set out in article 37 of the Law.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to an engagement are kept for 24 months from receipt and then deleted. Where a request leads to a verification, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for as long as tax obligations and those arising from our accreditation require.

Your ARCO rights

You have the right to know what data we hold and what we use it for (Access); to have it corrected if inaccurate or incomplete (Rectification); to request its deletion where you consider it unnecessary (Cancellation); and to object to its use for particular purposes (Opposition).

To exercise them, write to sergio.castro@neometricmexicana.com or to the address given above, including:

  • Your name and a means of replying to you.
  • A copy of official identification proving your identity or, where applicable, legal representation.
  • A clear description of the data concerned and which right you are exercising.
  • For a rectification, the documentation supporting the requested change.

We will reply within twenty working days. Where the request is upheld, it will take effect within fifteen working days of that reply. Exercising these rights is free of charge; only justified shipping or reproduction costs may be charged.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time by the same means. Withdrawal does not have retroactive effect and, in some cases, we may not be able to act on it immediately where a legal duty to retain the information remains.

Limiting use or disclosure

To stop receiving commercial communications without exercising a full ARCO right, email sergio.castro@neometricmexicana.com asking to be added to our exclusion list. You may also register with PROFECO’s public advertising-exclusion registry.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not place cookies in your browser, nor does it use web beacons, tracking pixels or advertising profiling technologies.

We only use browser session storage to remember, during your visit, that you have already seen the entrance animation. That marker contains no personal data, is never sent to any server, and disappears when you close the tab.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorised use. Information travels encrypted between your browser and our servers, and access to the panel where requests are recorded is restricted to staff who need to consult them.
